I just migrated to online accounting. It is cumbersome to have to change the calendar year I am working in, in order to see a report from another year. In the drop down menu on the report page - income and expense for example - you should be able to choose the year that you want to see, not just the current year or the quarter. This would also make less errors of posting in the wrong calendar year.
If you flip the date selector to Date range, you will be able to generate the report for any date range that exists on the database. We have been working this year to enable reporting outside of the "current" fiscal year and enabling the date range option also allows users to generate a report that crosses those fiscal year boundaries as well if needed.
