I get several emails with PDF attachments. I am very busy, so am putting them into a folder to be posted. They are a mixture of deposits, withdrawals, payables. Currently I am not able to upload the entire file. This is taking a lot of extra steps and time. In Field - I can upload a list of contracts and then go through them one at a time. This option should also be available in Accounting.
During beta testing of the process we discovered that there is no reliable way for the system to determine if a purchase transaction needed to be a Payable Charge or a Withdrawal so based on user feedback, and in line with what other OCR tools are doing we set it up so that as part of the upload process, users would need to indicate what type of transaction the document was supposed to post. So you can upload multiples at a time, up to 20 documents as long as the total size of the upload doesn't exceed 50MB. When you do that, the system will read each document and then create 20 corresponding pending transactions for you to review.
