split payment method

would it be possible to split the payment method between two accounts

ie: when you have a gift card (cash on hand account) and put the balance of invoice on CC

    Hello,
    To do this you have two options:
    1. You would need to enter two transactions or,

    2. Add an additional BK (bank transfer) or CP (credit card payment) line item in the transaction and enter the negative value. This will allow the transaction to post correctly.
