Ability to sort by newest entries on top

In the purchases or sales transaction list screens I had a customer enter transactions stating they were not showing up in the list, only to find out that the screen sorts the entries by date, instead of relevance. The customer had to reverse all the duplicate entries upon calling us and realizing this.

It would be practical if we had a toggle option/setting to show most recent entries at the top by default, instead of sorting them by date.
