Save/edit button for payroll paycheque transactions in order to be able to make changes or edit before posting as final Merged

I would like to be able to enter data and save my payroll paycheque transactions that can still be edited later before final posting. I sometimes have to stop what I'm doing and I don't want to lose all my information if I don't have it all completed.
