Ability to adjust inventoy to a value instead of by subtracting or adding to the original amount
It would be faster and simpler if I could have the option to adjust inventory to a value instead of subracting/adding to the original inventory value.

Hi Garrett! Thanks for the message. There is a way to do this currently in the software, though it doesn't invalidate your suggestion and I have marked it for future consideration because of that. AND I didn't want you to continue trying to do things "the hard way."
To just bump up the total value of an inventory account without worrying about that pesky "per unit" calculation, you can go to your General Journal entry screen and simply debit (increase) or credit (decrease) the inventory account by the amount necessary to get to the total value you're looking to end up at. You can do the entry with or without a quantity is no changes to the overall quantity are required.
