When adding a transaction from the reconciliation screen, it would make sense that the account you are reconciling would automatically be in the transaction screen but instead, It populates the default account. So, when reconciling a different account the account needs to be changed each time. If you forget to change this each time, it creates an error because the transaction is posted to the wrong account.
I agree and just suggested the same thing -
As a user who has recently switched from the desktop version to the web version, this has been a huge problem for me. When in a reconcilliation and entering transactions through that screen, it does not make sense to have the program do anything else other than default to the account that is being reconciled. I agree, this simple change needs to be made.
